Since 1903, The Bideawee organization has offered a peaceful place for pets. These burial plots give pet owners an opportunity to bury their loved animals in a peaceful location. They offer a range of burial options, including caskets and other containers, as well as cremation options.
The Bideawee Memorial Park offers a natural and soothing atmosphere for pet lovers to pay their respects. This peaceful environment is a fitting place for remembering the happy times that you shared.
Animal Headstones
As a Long Island headstone company, St.Charles Monuments creates pet memorials as a way for you to remember your loved animals. Creating a beautiful animal headstone that captures the impact the animal had on your life is the best testament to their time with you. We can include any standard headstone features on your animal’s monument– including the dates, name, a nickname, symbols, an epitaph, and more.
Transportation Arrangements
After your pet passes away, the staff at Bideawee can arrange for transportation for your pet from the veterinarian clinic, or your home. Additionally, Bideawee also offers pet owners the opportunity to visit with their recently passed pets before the burial. They generally require 24 hours notice before burial, because they need to make preparations.
Grave Maintenance
For pet owners that plan to visit the gravesite often, Bideawee Cemetery maintains the grounds. They offer both perpetual and annual maintenance plans, which include trimming the grass and cleaning the headstone.
Bideawee Animal Care

For over 114 years, Bideawee has operated no-kill adoption centers that offer animals a second chance in being adopted by loving owners. Bideawee is open for visitation between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm from Monday-Saturday. However, they are closed to visitors on Sunday.
