About Resurrection Cemetery
Resurrection Cemetery on Staten Island was established by the Archdiocese to meet growing burial needs in the city’s boroughs and remains one of the newer, larger Catholic cemeteries in New York. The grounds were acquired from the Mission of the Immaculate Virgin and blessed in the late 20th century; today the cemetery serves thousands of families with burial plots, mausoleum crypts, and well-maintained visitation areas.
