About Holy Cross Cemetery
Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn (East Flatbush) was opened on July 13, 1849, and is managed by the Diocese of Brooklyn. It is one of the oldest Catholic cemeteries in Brooklyn and contains many notable burials, spanning from the mid-19th century to modern times. The cemetery’s historic sections include a rich variety of traditional monuments, reflecting changing styles over time.
