About Calvary Cemetery
Calvary Cemetery, located in Queens (Woodside), is one of the archdiocese’s major Catholic burial grounds. As part of Calvary & Allied, it has served generations of New York City families with consecrated ground for Catholic interment. While many older grave monuments here reflect classical Victorian and early 20th-century styles, newer sections accommodate modern memorial designs.

At the Woodside Calvary grounds, St. Charles Monuments supports families with comprehensive memorial solutions. We design and install upright headstones, flat bronze markers, or slant markers, always conforming to cemetery rules. Our team performs inscriptions, etchings, and re-lettering when needed—such as refreshing weathered inscriptions or adding dates or symbols. In addition, we offer monument cleaning and repair (crack repairs, resetting, cleaning) to preserve the integrity of older stones.
